Jim Odom is a seasoned music executive, producer, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of groundbreaking experience in the music and audio industry. As the founder of PreSonus, Jim helped revolutionize the world of music production by delivering award-winning tools used by millions of musicians, producers, and engineers around the globe. His strategic leadership drove the development of innovative audio technologies, global brand growth, and successful partnerships and acquisitions.

A lifelong musician and guitarist for Louisiana’s iconic band LeRoux, Jim’s passion for music extends beyond performance. He is a platinum-certified recording engineer with credits including Cinderella’s Heartbreak Station, and has contributed to a wide range of award-winning music and film projects as a producer, engineer, and composer.

Now, with the launch of Myrical Records, Jim is turning his focus to nurturing the next generation of roots-driven artists. Based in Louisiana and rooted in blues, rock, soul, and the musical heritage of the Gulf South, Myrical Records is a return to purpose for Jim—a way to give back to the artists, sounds, and stories that shaped his own journey.
